Members of the 3799 Aboriginal Advocacy Committee organized a tent at the Fort George Park on Friday, June 21, National Aboriginal Day. We had a great day at the Park, great weather and it was very busy! I believe that in participating in such activities we help to build a good reputation for CUPE in the community and of course for generously giving out fruit, balloons and goodies for the kids. Everyone is always appreciative.
A special thank you to Bethany Haffner, Rheanna Robinson and Kathy Shaw for helping out at the tent and making this a successful day!
